The step-by-step Tyre Checking Guide

Vehicle owners sometimes neglect the importance of their tyresdespite the fact that they are such a fundamental component. Having the besttyres will prevent problems and keep them in good condition to avoid potentially dangerous driving conditions.

Check your tyres yourself here to confirm they are safe, legal, and suitable for theroad.

The tread depth should be checked

First, check the tread depth of your tyres. A minimum of1.6mm should be present over the central three-quarters of the tread, over thewhole circumference of the tyre. A normal ruler can be used to measure this, or you can use a device that you press into the tread to measure it for you.

Check the Condition of Your Tyres

Next, check the general condition of each tyre based on thedepth. Make sure the tyre wall does not have any scuffs, bumps, or tears ifnecessary, feel with your hand. You should replace your tyre if you see any significant damage as these may compromise the tyre's structural integrity and, in severe cases, result in a blowout.

Maintain proper Tyre Inflation

After wards, you can check if your tyres are at the properpressure. Several places provide this information.
